Christmas Competition 2007

It was a cold clear day, with the river at Barming out of sorts, but 24 hardy souls braved the cold to celebrate Christmas in the traditional fashion. There were certainly more laughs than fish, as our quarry failed to get into the Christmas spirit, but a good time was had by all.

Of the 24 fishing, only 7 managed to catch,

with John Brimmacombe taking top honours with a nice Chub and a tiny roach for 3lb 1 oz.
