Text Box: Safety First

! Never fish on your own, even if the water is very close to home. Its a good idea to be accompanied by an adult where possible (Many  MVAS waters require that an adult is present at all times with Junior members).

! Do not fish near any kind of overhead cable whatsoever.  You may think its a telephone wire, but guessing wrong could cost you your life.

! Do not fish during thunder storms. Rods and poles are excellent conductors of electricity, especially when wet. Thunderstorms are not normally close for very long, so take a break.

! Do not wade and definitely do not swim. If you do need to enter the water, make sure that someone who will be able to help is close by and knows what you are doing.

Text Box: Paul had some stiff competition this year from Simon, the result in the balance until the final match. They both had a great time and enjoyed some good fishing as well as some fun.
Why not come along and join them next season, drop me an e-mail.
